WWII P-40 Warhawk

Low and Loud!

For the first time, Thom Richard is bringing his historic P-40 Warhawk to Cleveland!

Growing up in Sweden, Thom knew he needed to come to the United States to fly planes, specifically warbirds! After coming to the states at 17, he eventually received his certified flight instructor qualifications and became a warbird flight instructor at 23. Thom flew his first P-40 in 2013 and the rest was history!

The P-40 is a WWII-era aircraft that first flew in 1938 and earned a reputation in battle for extreme ruggedness. The P-40 was used by the Allied powers during WWII and remained on the frontlines until the very end of the war. It was the third most-produced fighter of the time with over 13,700 being delivered by 1944 when manufacturing ceased.

Air show fans, don’t miss seeing and hearing this distinct aircraft!
