The 2020 Air Show was canceled due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) Pandemic. The action was necessary in order to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 and to comply with State, County and City Health regulations, which prohibit large events and mass gatherings. Planning and preparation proceeded for the 2021 Air Show featuring the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds.
