The U.S. Army’s Air Rescue Experience is a virtual reality simulation designed to immerse participants in realistic close‑to‑reality air rescue missions. It’s designed to showcase the Aviation and Aerial Defense components of the military.
Air Show attendees will have an immersive experience:
- Setup: Participants sit in an interactive chair and wear Oculus headsets for full‑immersion VR.
- Environment: The simulation recreates an actual air rescue scenario, complete with realistic sound, visuals, and movement cues.
- Purpose: It’s intended to give the public a hands‑on look at the skills, teamwork, and technology used in Army aviation rescue operations.
