Fans can tour unique aircraft, help pack a parachute, get a picture with a pilot or just enjoy the day-long festival of flying, food and outdoor fun.

2010 cleveland navy week
In conjunction with the Cleveland National Air Show, America 's Navy will come home to Cleveland August 30 th through September 6 th . Cleveland has been chosen as a host city for a Navy Week celebration, giving area residents an opportunity to meet some of the Navy's Sailors and learn about the Navy's critical mission and its broad - ranging capabilities. Rocket Display
Attention model rocketry enthusiasts-
the Northern Ohio Tripoli Association and Steve Eves are back at the Cleveland National Air Show with yet another large scale display - a 1/9th scale Saturn 1B! This 2-stage high power model rocket follows Steve's world record flight - 1/10th scale Saturn V that successfully flew in 2009. For more information, check out nothernohiotra.com

FAA'S DC-3 N34
Vintage Static Display Aircraft
The FAA's DC-3 N34 is a "retired" flight inspection aircraft that is used as an aviation awareness static display at air shows around the country. Open to visitors, the exhibit is a beautiful 1940's vintage aircraft that was one of the most successful ever built. The DC-3 proudly displays aviation education and pilot information, tells the history of FAA and CAA (a predecessor agency), and contains information about FAA's contributions to both domestic and international aviation.

Visit the NASA Glenn Research Center display and explore space...the next frontier...
Visit NASA's display throughout the weekend to see models of the Orion spacecraft that will carry astronauts back to the moon and the Ares I rocket that will launch Orion on its missions. Glenn staff will answer questions and talk about Cleveland's role in building this next-generation of manned spacecraft.
Step inside the Journey to Tomorrow trailer, a 53-foot interactive environment packed with hands-on activities and digital learning stations.
Then, check out the Aerospace Environmental Bus, where you can learn about Glenn's efforts to make airplane engines cleaner and more fuel efficient.
Don't forget to stop by the NASA information booth for free NASA flyers, posters, stickers and more.
