The Class of \u201945 is bringing their P-51 Mustang \u201cQuick Silver\u201d and F4U Corsair \u201cKorean War Hero\u201d to Cleveland for the first time! The Class of \u201945 was formed in 2013 and consists of pilots Jim Tobul and Scott Yoak. Their mission is to preserve and honor the service of American military members, both past and present. The F4U4 Corsair \u201cKorean War Hero\u201d:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

The F4U4 Corsair \u201cKorean War Hero\u201d served two tours on two different carriers and has flown over 200 combat missions. After the two tours, the Corsair spent roughly ten years in the Honduran Air Force before being sold in 1971 to a private owner. In 1981, Joe and Jim Tobul purchased it and began a ten-year restoration project. In 1991, \u201cKorean War Hero\u201d flew again.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>

The P-51 Mustang \u201cQuick Silver\u201d: <\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"The P-51 Mustang \u201cQuick Silver\u201d was a dream project of father and son, Bill and Scott Yoak. \u201cQuick Silver\u201d was declared surplus and sold into private use. Ownership changed several times before it was purchased by Bill. It was built from over 200 parts and projects. Scott now flies the P-51 in air shows across the country.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
