CLEVELAND NATIONAL AIR SHOW CHARITABLE FOUNDATION<\/h2>\n

The Cleveland National Air Show Charitable Foundation, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation formed by the Trustees of the Cleveland National Air Show to preserve Cleveland’s rich aviation heritage and promote the advancement of aviation.<\/p>\n

Major Projects<\/h4>\n

Marjorie Rosenbaum Aviation Plaza<\/a><\/h5>\n

\"CNASPlazaBrochure\"Open year round and free to the public, Marjorie Rosenbaum Aviation Plaza is located in downtown Cleveland at the entrance to Burke Lakefront Airport.<\/p>\n

The plaza opened in 1997 and is a dramatic tribute to Cleveland’s prominence during the “Golden Age of Aviation” when it hosted the National Air Races (1929-1949) and current role as the location of one of the longest running air shows in the United States (1964-present).<\/p>\n

The plaza is within walking distance from the International Women’s Air & Space Museum, Great Lakes Science Center and the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and Museum.<\/p>\n

Aviation Scholarships<\/span><\/h4>\n

Since 2000, the Cleveland National Air Show Charitable Foundation, Inc. has awarded $120,500 to local students pursuing aviation-related degrees.<\/p>\n

2003 Centennial of Powered Flight Gala presented by Parker Hannifin<\/h4>\n

Hosted by the Cleveland National Air Show Charitable Foundation, NASA Glenn Research Center and Parker Hannifin Corporation, the 2003 Air Show Weekend kicked off with a black-tie event at the Renaissance Hotel in downtown Cleveland. Aviation greats John Glenn, Jim Lovell and Gene Kranz were on hand to celebrate the 100th year of powered flight.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
