VOLUNTEERS
Each year, more than 200 (non paid) volunteers contribute their time and talents to this enormous community event. It is their dedication and support that makes the Cleveland National Air Show the successful event that it is.
If you would like to become an Air Show volunteer please fill out a 2012 Volunteer Inquiry Form and e-mail it to volunteers@clevelandairshow.com. (Volunteers must be 16 years old by August 1st.)
The following are just a few volunteer photos from the Cleveland National Air Show...thanks again to all of our volunteers!
Air show launches career
Many of you volunteers may remember, Major Rob Lingler, who as a young boy volunteered with his family in the Information Center at the Cleveland National Air Show. While volunteering he was inspired to fly Harriers...attended the U.S. Naval Academy and is now a Harrier instructor. While on loan to the RAF, Major Lingler flew the camera platform for one of the last mass flights of RAF Harriers. Below are photos from the final flight.
