Cleveland will host the U.S. Navy Blue Angels as headliners of the 2008 Cleveland National Air Show presented by Discount Drug Mart on Labor Day Weekend at Burke Lakefront Airport.
Each show day, the six "Blues" demonstration pilots will thrill air show fans with a one hour choreographed presentation that includes the graceful aerobatics of the four plane Diamond Formation, exciting high energy opposing maneuvers by the two solo pilots and a JATO demonstration by the Blue Angles C-130 Hercules support aircraft affectionately known as "Fat Albert". U.S. Air Force F-15 Eagle Tactical Demonstration The F-15C Eagle is an all-weather, extremely maneuverable, tactical fighter designed to permit the Air Force to gain and maintain air supremacy over the battlefield. The Eagle's air superiority is achieved through a mixture of unprecedented maneuverability and acceleration, range, weapons and avionics. It can penetrate enemy defense and outperform and outfight any current enemy aircraft.

U.S. air force f-16 fighting falcon tactical demonstration
The F-16C Fighting Falcon, more commonly known to military pilots as the Viper, is a compact, extremely maneuverable multi-role fighter aircraft. The F-16 has proven itself in air-to-air combat as well as air-to-surface attack. U.S. Air Force Heritage Flight 
Each event day, the past will meet the present when the F-16 Fighting Falcon and the F-15 Eagle perform a commemorative Heritage Flight with a P-51 Mustang "Excalibur".
The USAF Heritage Flight program was established in 1997 to commemorate the Air Force's 50th anniversary. It involves today's state-of-the-art fighters flying in close formation with World War II, Korean and Vietnam era fighters. The flight's mission is to safely and proudly display the evolution of U.S. Air Force airpower and to support the Air Force's recruiting and retention efforts. U.S. Navy F/A-18F Super hornet tactical demonstration
The U.S. Navy's F/A-18F Super Hornet is an all-weather strike fighter aircraft that performs fighter escort, fleet air defense, force projection, interdiction, and close air support. The Ohio Air National Guard C-130 is hard to miss: stretching more than 130 feet across the runway and 100-plus feet long, its strength is found in its versatile operations and impressive cargo space. The C-130 can transport everything from utility helicopters to six-wheel armored vehicles, as well as standard pallet cargo and military personnel.
